Dr. Xak (he/him) is a distinguished professional dedicated to advancing environmental biodiversity conservation and the preservation of human biocultural heritage. With expertise as a Traditional Indigenous Medicine Keeper, GeCCO-Ranger, Biodiversity Research Scientist, Climate Action Resilience & Continuity (ARC) Engineer, and BiOKULTURE-4 DeSDEV Consultant, Dr. Xak offers a unique and multifaceted approach to his work.

Hailing from two indigenous cultures that inhabit the Rainforests of Central America-CARICOM and Southeast Asia, Dr. Xak maintains a deep-rooted cultural connection to these regions. Through his extensive in-situ work, he has earned the trust and respect of these communities, allowing him to intimately understand the intricacies of these environments and the profound interconnection between human well-being and the natural world. Dr. Xak is passionate about promoting sustainable practices that preserve both the rich cultural heritage and precious biodiversity found in these regions.

With a comprehensive background as a Biodiversity Research Scientist, Dr. Xak brings a scientific foundation to his work.
